Preparation of the ClingS Project Kick-Off and OXYMORAL Final-Phase Planning
On 22 January 2026, the first online meeting of the project “Cross-lingual information retrieval for scientific datasets in less-resourced languages” was held. The purpose of this meeting was to prepare the official kick-off of the project. This initiative is a follow-up to the OXYMORAL project. Participants discussed the general objectives and initial coordination steps. The kick-off meeting is scheduled to take place in Paris. It will be hosted by INALCO on 21–22 May 2026.
On the same day, a separate OXYMORAL meeting was also organized. This meeting focused on issues related to the Material Bank. Participants reviewed current challenges and ongoing tasks. They also planned activities for the final half-year of the project’s duration.
