On 13-18 April 2025, OYMORAL R2 Investigator Ján Gallo participated in Erasmus+ mobility training at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (Poland). The main aim of the mobility program was to collect exemplification material (selected main and derived moral expressions) in the context of Old Polish, as well as the contemporary Polish language. The collection of material was carried out primarily in two local university libraries (Biblioteka Wydziału Neofilologii UAM; Instytuto Językoznawstwa w Poznaniu and Biblioteka Wydziału Filologii Polskiej i Klaszycznej im. Józefa Tomarza Pokrzywniaka) in accordance with the general and specific objectives of the European Union project OXYMORAL – Inverted Morality: Reversed Semantics in Old Church Slavic Moral Words. Based on the available print dictionaries of the Polish language (etymological, historical and contemporary), it was possible to collect a significant material base as a basis for its gradual addition and revision, also for other European institutions cooperating in the OXYMORAL project. Participation in the mobility also contributed to the overall promotion of the focus of the OXYMORAL project at the local Department of Neophilology of the Institute of East Slavic Philology (Wydzial Neofilologii; Instytut Filologii Wschodnioslowiańskich). The research of above-mentioned moral expressions is also connected with classifying and analysing the collected material in order to determine the dominant tendency of semantic changes in historical Slavic Languages (Old Polish) and modern Slavic languages (Polish).
