Oxymoral PI Diweg-Pukanec at the conference in Prešov
On 15 November 2024, on the occasion of the jubilee of Doc. PhDr. Ladislav Bartko, CSc., a conference „Eastern Slovak dialects
– constants and variables“ was held at the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Prešov, Slovakia. Prof. Diweg-Pukanec presented at the conference the paper „Slavic etyma reflected in Slovak mrav, mravný ‘moral’ and dialectal zanoritý ‘stubborn’“, which was funded by the EU NextGenerationEU through the Recovery and Resilience Plan for Slovakia under the project No. 09I03-03-V04-00670 Inverted Morality: Reversed Semantics in Old Church Slavonic Moral Words (OXYMORAL).
