On 12 September 2024, on the occasion of the jubilee of Prof. PhDr. Jana Sokolová, CSc., an international conference „At the Intersection of Russian Studies, Slovak Studies and General Linguistics“ was held at the Rector’s Office of the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. After the opening and introductory words of the PI of the OXYMORAL project, Prof. Diweg-Pukanec, followed the laudation of the Dean of the Faculty of Arts of the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Prof. Hetényi, with the final congratulations and the presentation of flowers.
Prof. Diweg-Pukanec presented at the conference the paper „Lexical Semantics and Grammatical Aspects of a Czech Text from the Perspective of a Rule-Based Machine Translation for the Czech-Slovak Language Pair“, which was funded by the EU NextGenerationEU through the Recovery and Resilience Plan for Slovakia under the project No. 09I03-03-V04-00670 Inverted Morality: Reversed Semantics in Old Church Slavonic Moral Words (OXYMORAL).
