On 11 April 2025, the Institute of East Slavic Philology at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland, became a centre of interest for young researchers from all over the world. On that day, the 1st International Conference of Doctoral Students was held with the laconic but succinct title „The Word in East Slavic Languages, Literatures and Cultures“. The international composition of participants from different countries – Poland, Slovakia, Turkey, Germany, Lithuania, and Ukraine – testified to a lively interest in East Slavic philology and culture far beyond the borders of the Slavic countries. Among the members of the scientific committee of the conference was OXYMORAL R2, Doc. Mgr. Alena Kalechyts, CSc., whose participation emphasised the high scientific level of the event. OXYMORAL R1, Mgr. Bohdana Kravchenko not only presented her own paper on the topic „Word as a means of egopresentation of personality“, as part of the project OXYMORAL, but also spoke on behalf of all co-investigators of the project, outlining its main components.
